Agromonti, is set to inaugurate a cutting-edge input dealer shop for the winner of the Agromonti Ultimate Prize Pitch at Agrihouse Foundation’s 6th Agricultural Students Career Guidance and Mentorship Dialogue (AG-STUD) Bootcamp on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, at Adidome in the Volta Region.

Charlotte Yawa Sodzedo, a 24-year-old agribusiness student from Adidome Farm Institute, emerged as the winner of the Agromonti Ultimate Prize Pitch during the 6th Agricultural Students Career Guidance and Mentorship Dialogue (AG-STUD) Bootcamp organised by Agrihouse Foundation.

Her exceptional performance not only showcased her dedication and proficiency but also secured her the prestigious prize, valued at Seventy-Five thousand Ghana cedis (75,000 GHC) both technical and financial support .

As part of the comprehensive prize package, Agromonti, in collaboration with Agrihouse Foundation, is set to inaugurate the fully packed agribusiness input dealer shop in Adidome.

This strategic award reflects the commitment of Agrihouse Foundation and Agromonti to nurture and support the aspirations of talented beginner agribusiness owners and students within the agricultural sector, providing them with a dedicated platform for growth and success. It serves as a beacon of hope and encouragement for young Agri-entrepreneurs across Ghana and beyond.

Ms. Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, the Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, expressed gratitude to Agromonti for fulfilling their commitment to open an input dealer shop for the winner of Agrihouse Foundation’s 2023 Agricultural Students Career Guidance and Mentorship Dialogue Bootcamp.

The Agricultural Students Career Guidance and Mentorship Dialogue (AG-STUD) Bootcamp, organised annually by Agrihouse Foundation, is a program that provides mentorship, guidance, and networking opportunities to students and young professionals interested in pursuing careers in the agricultural sector.

The AG-STUD Bootcamp have over the years impacted over 12,000 beginner agribusiness owners and student by helping develop their skills, build their networks, and create opportunities for themselves in the agriculture industry. It provides a platform for participants to engage with industry professionals, learn about the latest trends and innovations in the agriculture sector, and receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals. The initiative has also helped secure jobs and internship opportunity for students.

The initiative targets students and young professionals from various disciplines, including agriculture, agribusiness, environmental science, and related fields. The AG-STUD Bootcamp aims to inspire and empower the next generation of agricultural leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators.
